Top Ten Tuesday (10)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
Top Ten Book Covers of 2012
10
Defiance by C.J. Redwine
This cover is awesome! The model looks so determined, and the black goes great with the trees!
9
 Timepiece (Hourglass, #2)
Timepiece by Myra McEntire
It's time to time travel but she's trying to hold on (love that), plus the blue wallpaper goes really great with the room.
8
Born Wicked (The Cahill Witch Chronicles, #1)
Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood
Those flowers compliment the model and the twigs perfectly.
7
Girl of Nightmares (Anna, #2)
Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake
This cover compliments the Anna Dressed in Blood cover so nicely. I love how everything is a shade of red.
6
Hemlock by Kathleen Peacock
Hemlock's cover is freaking hot. I love the hemlock entwined with the title. The dress brings out the other colors too!
5

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews
The colors are so energetic and fun with everyone hanging from the puppet strings!
4
City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments, #5)
City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare
FINALLY!!! THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS HAVE A DECENT COVER!!! All the other books were too plain, but this one is really hot with the purple and the city with the water below.
3
Until I Die (Revenants, #2)
Until I Die by Amy Plum
This cover is so AWESOME and I love how almost everything is blue!
2
Hidden (Firelight, #3)
Hidden by Sophie Jordan
I love how the red hair is everywhere! And how the girl's eyes are blue just like the title!
1
The Selection (The Selection, #1)
The Selection by Kiera Cass
OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! I love how she's entrapped in ice, and how the model's dress matches it! Best cover of 2012 so far!

  2. I really like Timepiece. I think the blue color is also symbolic of depression, low moods, something.
