A bloody escape, a deadly threat, a shocking revelation...
Tiki’s greatest fear suddenly becomes all too real: the fey have returned to London seeking revenge. As war escalates in the Otherworld, Queen Victoria’s youngest son, Prince Leopold, is attacked. In order to protect her family and those she loves, Tiki needs to know the meaning of an fáinne sí, the birthmark that winds around her wrist. But will she be brave enough to face the truth?
The first book in this series was so different then the regular paranormal book. I love the fact it takes place in Victorian London and mixes in faeries and the world of the fey. It combines the royal courts with the courts of the fey, and I loved it. Kiki has an awesome style of writing too!
This book sounds great! it is definitely going on my TBR pile. Thank-you for sharing :)

I'm reading an ARC of this now. It's just as fantastic as book 1. I'll be interviewing Kiki in October and giving it away. So excited that you're looking forward to this one.
ReplyDeleteGreat pick. I wish that my library carried her books. This series sounds awesome...

I'm looking forward to this too, even though I haven't yet read the first. They both sound so good.
ReplyDeleteThe Torn Wing sounds like a great book, thanks for featuring it since I hadn't heard about either of the books in the series. I like the idea of the Victorian England setting mixed with the Faeries and the Fey as well.
ReplyDeleteI haven't got to read this series yet, but I LOVE that cover, and the plot sure sounds good! And, you just can't go wrong with stories set in Victorian times ;D <3
