Top Ten Books I'd Like to See be Made Into a Movie

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
Top Ten Books I'd Like to See be Made Into a Movie
Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices, #1)Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1)Slide (Slide, #1)
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #1)The Iron King (Iron Fey, #1)The Girl in the Steel Corset (Steampunk Chronicles, #1)
DivergentDelirium (Delirium, #1)A Touch Mortal (A Touch Trilogy, #1)Wings (Wings, #1)
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare - I love this series! With the right cast it would be an awesome movie!
Cinder by Marissa Meyer - God I loved this book! The movie would be AVATAR meets CINDERELLA, which is obviously a recipe for greatness!
Slide by Jill Hathaway - This is a great thriller that movie goers would just eat up!
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin - This will be such an awesome paranormal thriller!
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa - For some reason I picture Tim Burton directing this! If he did, it would be SUCH a feast for the eyes!
The Girl in the Steel Corset by Kady Cross - This film would be like the new Sherlock Holmes movie! A true steampunk fest!
Divergent by Veronica Roth -  This would make the best action movie EVAH!
Delirium by Lauren Oliver - It would be an awesome teen scifi drama, but I think it could be a better TV series actually.
A Touch Mortal by Leah Clifford - Though it might be a little depressing at some points, it would be AWESOME!
Wings by Aprilynne Pike - This one would be cool, and I really wanna see what they would do with the faeries in it!

  1. I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't read any of these books yet (especially embarrassed for not having read Divergent yet!), but they all look like they would be great movies! Great post, and I'm a new follower as well!

I would love it if you could check out my TTT!

  2. Yay! I totally love your list! Read all of 'em. I heard Wings is already in progress of making it into a movie. I heard too that it'd be Miley Cyrus(not that I agree with that, but still..) Awesome list! :D

  4. I've been seeing Clockwork Angel on a lot of lists so far! I agree that with the right cast, it could actually work out pretty well (though honestly, I'm just curious who they would choose to be Will!). Cinder has also been on a lot of lists - I've only just started reading it but based on the premise I could definitely see it as a film.

    Great list!

  8. I SO want to see Clockwork Angel as a movie, so I'm with you on that one. I haven't read CINDER yet, but now that I know it's like Cinderella meets Avatar...I might have to pick it up.

  14. I'm in 100% agreement about The Infernal Devices books! I would probably die from over excitement if I found out those were being made in to movies! The only question is who would play Will Herondale?!

  15. I hope you know that Wings was actually optioned by Disney to be created into a movie. Miley Cyrus was rumored to be the main lead ...AKA Laurel.

Love the picks! I have to say I don't wanna see any them into a movie ..I love the book through my eyes :)

  16. Clockwork Angel and Divergent were on my list too! I'd LOVE to see them as movies but, as you say, with the right cast, and director and stuff.
I also heard that Miley Cyrus was linked to a movie adaptation of Wings...I sincerely hope that wasn't true - she just doesn'e fit the image I had of Laurel in my head at all. Great choices :)

  17. I'm reading A Touch Mortal right now, and totally agree that this would make a great movie. And Divergent? CLEARLY that would make a great movie. And MARA DYER was such an amazing book, a movie could be a great thing. If they do it right, that is.
