The Top Ten Books I'd Play Hooky With

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
Top Ten Books That if I Got I'd Play Hooky With
Because books are so much more fun then school...
10
Insurgent
Insurgent by Veronica Roth
Divergent was so amazing... if I got Insurgent I would totally be "sick".
9
Demon Eyes (Witch Eyes, #2)
Demon Eyes by Scott Tracey
Teachers!!! The witch put a spell on me saying I had to read this book instead of going to school! Really, it's true!
8
City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments, #5)
City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare
This one would make me want a "ditching school rune"!
7
Girl of Nightmares (Anna, #2)
Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake
I'd kill myself to read this book... because ghosts don't have to go to school, right?
6
Defiance (Defiance, #1)
Defiance by C.J. Redwine
I would DEFY my teachers to read this book! Sounds so epic!
5
The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, #1)
The Raven Boys  by Maggie Stiefvater
Every boy needs a day off... I just might have to take one if I get this book.
4
Shadow and Bone (The Grisha, #1)
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
Me after getting this book: OMG!!! I BROKE A BONE! Guess I'll have to stay home tomorrow to read it...
3
Team Human
Team Human by Justine Larbelestier and Sarah Brees Bennan
I'm only human, so I need a break (to read this book) once in a while!
2
The Unraveling of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
I'm unraveling... better stay home (to read)!
1
Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3)
Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
If I was a princess (that means I would first have to get a sex change) I would make a law saying everyone got a day off school to read this! Or else it would be "OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!!!"
Those are my top ten! What are your's? Link me below!

  1. Ahaha Ditching School Rune! Good one. I think Jace and Simon would approve, even if Jace doesn't really go to school... Anyway, I can't wait for City Of Lost Souls either. Luckily I'm done with school just a few days before it comes out.

  6. I'd totally play hooky with Insurgence, Defiance, Shadow and Bone or Clockwork Princess...as well as an endless list of other books. Books >>>> school work. Alas, assignments don't get done by themselves. :"(
