Summary: NEWSOUL
Ana is new. For thousands of years in Range, a million souls have been reincarnated over and over, keeping their memories and experiences from previous lifetimes. When Ana was born, another soul vanished, and no one knows why.

NOSOUL
Even Ana’s own mother thinks she’s a nosoul, an omen of worse things to come, and has kept her away from society. To escape her seclusion and learn whether she’ll be reincarnated, Ana travels to the city of Heart, but its citizens are suspicious and afraid of what her presence means. When dragons and sylph attack the city, is Ana to blame?

HEART
Sam believes Ana’s new soul is good and worthwhile. When he stands up for her, their relationship blooms. But can he love someone who may live only once, and will Ana’s enemies—human and creature alike—let them be together? Ana needs to uncover the mistake that gave her someone else’s life, but will her quest threaten the peace of Heart and destroy the promise of reincarnation for all?

Jodi Meadows expertly weaves soul-deep romance, fantasy, and danger into an extraordinary tale of new life.

My review: Dystopia. A genre that everyone seems to be writing these days. But still, Incarnate is not your average dystopian. Oh, no it was so much more then that.
To highlight one thing that differs Incarnate from many of the other dystopian novels, is it combines medieval folklore like dragons with the high-tech world of the future. This was a really outstanding part of this novel!
Ana was a great heroine. She was always so selfless like..
(Note: No offense meant to Jodi Meadows for comparing her to Lilo and Stitch)
Yeah, she was really cool and noble. And in the end she kicked ass (pardon my language)!
And my god was that an ending, it was so epic I felt sorta like doing this:
I really loved Meadow's writing style, it kept the book interesting and had me on the edge of my seat! It was so great! And now *cue trumpets* I have a little spin on You are my Sunshine about Incarnate!
Incarnate, you are so awesome,
You make me anxious,
for book two,
You'll never know dear, how much I want to keep you,
But it's for a traveling ARC tour so I must send you away.

The other night, dear, as I was reading,
I held you,
in my arms,
you'll never know dear, how much I loved reading you,
but now I must send you away.

Incarnate was awesome! Like I said, I can't wait for book two!
5/5

  28. There's been quite a bit of hype about this book. I wasn't sure if it was really dystopian or if it was fantasy or scifi, since it looks more like the latter. I'm glad that you liked it so much. It is on my tbr list and I am excited to read it.

  33. It sounds like a good book for me to read because I always believed that souls reincarnate but this one is special because she was a new soul and only had one possibility of living once.

  36. As I saw in your review, you luved this book. I've read other reviews of people loving it, disliking it... the cover is so awesome! I think I'll git it a read =]

  37. Hehe, I love your gifs! I read an ARC of Incarnate. I wasn't as consumed by this book as other books. Maybe b/c I wasn't expecting to see dragons and gods and whatnot. I did like the idea b/c it's so unique. A million souls reborning until one new soul comes through? That's just awesome. I do like the sweet relationship between Ana and Sam :)
