Q. Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one?

A: For the most part, no. Readers should be cheering for the heroes. But in The Twilight Saga I really wanted Fire and Ice (the group of bad vampires) to win. It wasn't that these villains were anything special it was just that Edward and Bella were such 2-d main characters so I was hoping they WOULDN'T get a happily ever after ending. But like I say, I'm usually very pro-hero, but I do love stories like Wicked that tells it from the villain's mind, I wish we had more of those out there in the YA world.

  1. Hi! Thanks for the follow I have returned the favor. I might have said Twilight too, but I haven't actually read the books so I figured it would be cheating! ;-)

  11. Oh yeah Bella was definitely a character I had no love for and I had no feelings whatsoever for Edward, cardboard is more exciting.

I chose Wile E. Coyote, loved that little scamp!

  14. I so agree with you. They were 2-D characters and I was hoping the vamps would win or perhaps Jacob would win over Edward. I never understood what everyone saw in Edward.
