Book Haul (9)

Book Haul is a weekly feature that showcases all the awesome goodies I got this week!
For Review:
The End of Infinity
The End of Infinity by Matt Myklusch
I love this series and I will be SO SAD to see it end! One of the best MG authors out there!
Bought:
The Awakening and The Struggle (The Vampire Diaries, #1-2)
The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening and The Struggle by L.J. Smith
I am in love with the CW TV series and though I've heard the book isn't at all like the TV series, I decided to give it a shot! I read the first 20 pages or so and am really liking it!
The Fury and Dark Reunion (The Vampire Diaries, #3-4)
The Vampire Diaries: The Fury and Dark Reunion by L.J. Smith
Now I have the last book in the series!
Personal Demons (Personal Demons, #1)
Personal Demons by Lisa Desrochers
I'm going to a signing where Lisa Desrochers will be attending so I figured I had better read one of her books first!
Gifted:
These are all thanks to my local indie, Liberty Bay Books!
Something Strange and Deadly (Something Strange and Deadly, #1)
Something Strange and Deadly by Suzanne Dennard
I am in love with zombies right now and I can't seem to get enough of them! This one looks like it has a cool steampunk twist too!
The Lying Game (The Lying Game, #1)
The Lying Game by Sara Shepard
I haven't read any of Shepard's novels, but this seems like a good time to start!
Death Warmed Over
Death Warmed Over by Kevin J. Anderson
This book looks perfect for Halloween! (I am a huge Halloween fan, favorite holiday by a mile!)
Won:
All These Things I've Done (Birthright, #1)
All These Things I've Done by Gabrielle Zevin
I already have a hardcover of this but now I've won a copy of the first and the second one in their new cover!
Because It Is My Blood (Birthright, #2)
Because It Is My Blood by Gabrielle Zevin
Now I have an ARC of the second, which has a gorgeous cover!

  6. I don't think I'll ever be able to catch up with VD so maybe I'll stick to the series if the urge comes up. Enjoy Something Strange and Deadly!

  8. Looks like a great haul! I liked the first book in the Vampire Diaries books but not the second or third as much. The show is a lot better IMO. Excited to read Something Strange and Deadly after all of the reviews I've seen!
