Publisher ~ Simon and Schuster Children's

Summary: Rhine and Gabriel have escaped the mansion, but danger is never far behind.
Running away brings Rhine and Gabriel right into a trap, in the form of a twisted carnival whose ringmistress keeps watch over a menagerie of girls. Just as Rhine uncovers what plans await her, her fortune turns again. With Gabriel at her side, Rhine travels through an environment as grim as the one she left a year ago - surroundings that mirror her own feelings of fear and hopelessness.
The two are determined to get to Manhattan, to relative safety with Rhine’s twin brother, Rowan. But the road there is long and perilous - and in a world where young women only live to age twenty and young men die at twenty-five, time is precious. Worse still, they can’t seem to elude Rhine’s father-in-law, Vaughn, who is determined to bring Rhine back to the mansion...by any means necessary.
In the sequel to Lauren DeStefano’s harrowing Wither, Rhine must decide if freedom is worth the price - now that she has more to lose than ever.
My review: Wither was absoulutly extraordinary, so I had pretty high expectations coming into Fever, and boy, did it deliver! I'm not sure how Lauren Destefano does it, but she's mentioned it involves her umbilical cord and a bowl of sugar...

My favorite part of Destefano's books are the characters. Her characters are so amazingly thought out and she uses such great detail to when crafting them. She lets you get inside their head, and experience what's happening in their mind.
Almost all my reviews have some criticism in all of my reviews, and I pride myself on that, because though I love the book, I'm being honest. But there is NOTHING wrong with Fever.
Yup, that was me right after reading Fever, it was just so good! I fell in love with this book after page one. Destefano is an amazing author, there's nothing else you can say about it. It is just too good!

Yes, this was me also me. Unfortunately, it was for an ARC tour, so that didn't work out too well!
Fever the dystopian that makes all the other dystopians go sulk in the corner, sorry, but it had to be said!

5/5
Cover Comments: I love the green and pink on this cover, but the girl looks stoned! :'-(
