My Valentine's Day started terrible because I had an incredibly long dentist appointment (almost 3 hours!) that left me quite numb and in a bit of pain for awhile, and then I had to go to work for 10 hours. BUT, I received a post card from my best friend in Russia whom I haven't seen in 6 months as well as got to talk to another best friend in England who I haven't seen in almost 3 years! 110. My Valentine's Day this year was quiet in consideration that it was on a Tuesday and we now have two young children! My husband works a lot and even though we had to stay in because it was a "school night," he took the time and creativity to take home a tray of sushi for dinner as part of our VD "celebration." I received an over-expensive card, a lovely letter, and a pair of garnet earrings, which is my birthstone.

    ReplyDelete
